Velux ZZZ 267 Unlocking tool for electric/solar windows

If the opening bar is still attached to the motor chain, due to either failed batteries/panels on solar windows or power, connection problems on electric windows then you will need this tool to disengage the chain.

To locate the release clip on the handle you will need to measure from right to left on the inside of the frame (where the rubber gasket is): C/CK width windows 28cm, F/FK width windows 33cm, M/MK width windows 39cm, P/PK width windows 47cm, S/SK width windows 28cm, U/UK width windows 28cm. Insert the small lip end of the tool in the gap behind the bar and hook the release clip towards you whilst gently pulling the handle downwards.

If you dont know the window code then by measuring between the plasterboard roughly C/CK will be 50cm, F/FK will be 61cm, M/MK will be 73cm, P/PK will be 89cm, S/SK will be 109cm, U/UK will be 129cm.
