Velux solar window battery pack 865103/865626 nimh 10.8v / 2100mAh type GP210AFHT for velux solar windows 2014 onwards.
Velux will advise to change the motor and panel with their kitset as sometimes it is the solar panel at fault, they will not sell the battery 865103 on its own! their new design panel will not work on its own with the old motor, hense the need for this expensive kitset option, we can only supply the battery with the 3 pin terminal (865626), 9 times out of 10 it is the battery as these nimh batteries have a limited lifespan.
To replace, remove the motor, unplug the solar panel cable and battery cable, then with a flat blade remove the cover from the battery housing, pull the battery out and swap ends over (see video), replace battery, plug leads in and refit, really simple, some windows will need pairing with the remote if left for a long time without power!
Important For replacing batteries on 865103 solar windows you will need to reuse the 4 pin block and use a connector on the brown and white wires.
